The Trustee recently updated its privacy notice to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation and a copy was sent to all members in May 2018. The privacy notice is also available on the Plan documents page.
FRAUD ALERT
A number of companies are cold-calling members of the public and promising them sums of money if they transfer their pension pots to them.
If this happens before the age of 55, it is termed an ‘unauthorised payment’ and will result in a large tax charge. This plus the high fees charged for the transfer will seriously reduce the expected pension.
